Directors Kentaro Otani and Keiichi Sato masterfully employed a dark color palette, stark lighting, and gothic production design to forge an eerie world where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs.

Hiro Mizushima's portrayal of Sebastian Michaelis is a highlight; he captures the suave, enigmatic yet dangerously alluring essence of the demon butler.
